Blake Wessinger, Project Manager

Blake Wessinger is the Project Manager at DemList, LLC, a free national daily column, calendar and network for, to and about the Democratic Party and its interests. He started with DemList in June 2016, working on preparation for the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, which he attended as a DemList Associate.

Blake is an alumnus of The George Washington University in Washington, DC.  He graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in International Affairs, specializing in International Development. He also holds a minor degree in the French Language.

Blake is a tireless advocate for the rights of refugees and immigrants. He has worked previously on numerous projects relating to refugee and immigrant populations, both domestically and abroad. He has worked as a refugee resettlement caseworker with refugee communities from over 10 different countries, and has experience interpreting in both the French and Arabic languages.

During his final year at George Washington, under direction from the United States Department of State, Blake was a founding member of No Lost Generation GWU, a student organization supporting Syrian Refugee education initiatives abroad. NLG-GWU has since grown to be one of the most widely known university-based humanitarian aid organizations in the country.

Blake is a proud native of Charlotte, North Carolina.
