In the wake of the 2016 election and the incoming Trump Administration, the choice of our next DNC Chair, and the direction of our party, has never been more important.

The election of the Chair and Officers will be held at the DNC Meeting February 23-26 in Atlanta, Georgia.

In the interim, in an effort to include Democrats nationwide in the process, the Democratic National Committee is holding a series of four regional candidate forums, the first of which kicks off tomorrow!

The officers of the Party are elected by the National Committee members. Under the Party's Charter and Bylaws, the DNC has nine officers. In addition to the Chair, the DNC has five Vice Chairs (including the President of the Association of State Democratic Chairs, elected by that body), a Treasurer, a Secretary, and a National Finance Chair.
